The degrees of Black Friday.

For some it is a cultural event to be celebrated and partaken of.
For some it is a cultural event to be taken advantage of.
For some it is a cultural event to be tolerated.
For some it is a cultural even to be ignored.
For some it is a cultural event to be loathed.

Please add nuance to this. I am in the last category, but I don't walk in others' shoes, so . . . However, if you are in group one, then enjoy the fires of hell; that warmth will last you longer than that Chinese-made comforter from Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

I'm an introvert. I'll go to an art show but that's the end of it.
