@DineshDSouza:
I am thankful this week when I remember that America is big enough and great enough to survive Grown-Up Trayvon in the White House!
Nasty. Just nasty!

(22,336 posts)There is SO MUCH WRONG with that!
I knew he was a real piece of work before that but wow.

(2,205 posts)I had never heard of him before
gollygee
(22,336 posts)It's really stupid. He reads all this stuff into Obama based on stuff like, "He called the book 'Dreams FROM My Father' rather than 'Dreams OF My Father' for a reason!"

(2,205 posts)I don't read Racist Crap that attacks our first Black President
Or for that matter any other propaganda or other hate shit
gollygee
(22,336 posts)But I unfortunately have had run-ins with people who have who have argued about it with me. Including a complete stranger who saw me reading Dreams From My Father while watching my daughter play at the McDonald's PlayPlace.
Now I read on a Kindle so people can't see what I'm reading.

(2,205 posts)In the old days, in public settings, people minded their own business, now a lot of people think they can "Get in your Face" and tell you what to read and how to live.

"This Institution supports the Constitution of the United States, its Bill of Rights and its method of representative government. Both our social and economic systems are based on private enterprise from which springs initiative and ingenuity.... Ours is a system where the Federal Government should undertake no governmental, social or economic action, except where local government, or the people, cannot undertake it for themselves"
WHAT A PHILOSOPHY----
If the "People" can provide table scraps for the poor government should stay out of the problem

Personally, I am thankful when I remember that America is big enough to totally ignore idiot assholes like Dinesh D'Souza.

(4,238 posts)Truly, I do. I just love it when they don't even bother to hide their contempt and fly their hateful, racist flag high. More of this please -- helps us secure 2016.

CatWoman
(79,302 posts)for posting it in the first place...
hfojvt
(37,573 posts)but it's certainly a vile thing to say.
Of course, deleting it doesn't necessarily mean he now agrees it shouldn't have been said. He may just think that too many of us "can't handle the truth".
I'm thinking he needs to donate 5% of his annual income to the United Negro College Fund in Trayvon's name to show some real regret.
But still to delete it is better than letting it stand.
