Back when most of them were moderate, they voted on a lot of stuff we like now.
If I had to pick it all changed in the 80's with Reagan and lowering taxes on the rich while destroying unions and convincing people that was a good thing very manipulating.
They were smart they slowly eroded us for the past 30 yrs just a little bit more every year until you wake up and all of a sudden, good jobs are gone, most of good legislation gone, most union jobs gone, rich pay almost no tax, etc
