Obamacare and Medicare

I just got a call from a neighbor who claims he cant get a Medicare doctor because of Obamacare...How can that be?

I think this guy is nothing but a liar but I wanted to ask here to be sure that one did not affect the other before i I call him a liar..

Is there any way he could be right?

1. Did he have a Medicare Advantage PPO plan that was canceled?

Obamacare is paid for partly by reducing payments to insurance companies that provide Medicare Advantage plans. Hence some insurers are canceling Medicare Advantage plans, especially the PPO plans. The remaining Medicare Advantage plans are typically HMO plans with restricted provider networks and not out-of-network benefits.

4. Guy just called me and said he was wrong...

Guy is a hot tempered right winger..and calls me every time something irritates him about Obama,, He apparently called for some medical supplies and got a hard time and blamed Obama ..called me with a fiery rant..now just called to apologize,,seems he can get his supplies after all...
