My 1000th Post

Well, Finally I hit a milestone that seems worthy of a post. I lurked on DU roughly a year a two after 9/11. I have been hooked ever since.

I'm Chris. I live in Monroe, Ohio. About halfway between Cincinnati and Dayton. I'm 31. Unemployed, and a registered Democrat. I would feel totally lost without DU. I read the website daily and share links on Facebook and or word-of-mouth to friends. I love it here, though I haven't made any friends on here.

I do enjoy SalmonChantedEvening's kitteh posts on Sundays! Also I love to read the Science forum a lot.
