Update on Crème-de-la-Dumb Elisabeth Hasselbeck's faceplant on Faux&Friends

I posted about this yesterday and sure enough it was covered by Rawstory today.

Fox News’ Hasselbeck: Obamacare is hurting ‘many’ elderly pregnant women

If you want to skip through all the Faux BS in the video the hilarity starts at 1:25. Stuart Varney, who evidently is the only one in the room north of a room temperature IQ, tries to drop her a crumb so she can correct herself and she still doesn't get it. The look on his face at 1:36 is classic as he realizes he's in a room full of morons.

4. I should have been more clear in encouraging everyone to skip ahead

I laughed out loud when I saw this at the gym yesterday. I don't think anyone else got it either.

5. You don't have to be elderly to be enrolled in a medicare advantage plan

"You live in the service area of the plan you want to join. The plan can give you more information about its service area. If you live in another state for part of the year, check to see if the plan will cover you there.

You have Medicare Part A and Part B.

You don't have End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) ."

I'm 54 and I would qualify for a medicare advantage plan as I meet all the above requirements.

So yes, you can be permanently disabled, have kidney failure or Lou Gehrig's disease and be younger than 65, but I don't think too "many" of those are pregnant either.

7. Yes. But one doesn't need to be 65 or older to be on Medicare

I'm fully disabled and on SSDI so I qualify for and am on Medicare.

However, I'm not trying to argue with the point you are making in your OP. Just pointing out that one doesn't have to be 65 or older to be on Medicare. If a person is younger then 65 but disabled, they can be on it to.

My mom qualified for medicare before she was 65 so I know what you're talking about, but when speaking about a medicare plan, the vast majority are going to be over 65, so it's just another example of Hasslebeck injecting nonsense into the conversation just as she did for years on The View. Obviously she is there on Faux for nothing more than window dressing. I often hear guys at the gym talking about how much leg she shows. Nobody seems to mind that she's a complete idiot. I have no idea why anyone would think she's the least bit relevant.

12. We're talking about small numbers of women on SSDI who are actually pregnant

Hasslebeck just inserted what she had heard about medical plans in general.
