The lovely piece of work just decided to lie to police when she phoned in the report. Pregnant, not pregnant, who can tell the difference these days?

These two deserve each other, so I hope they can work things out.

Unfortunately this means it's not a felony, and Z is eligible for bail, and this case will probably mysteriously go away in the coming weeks, just like his last incident(s) did.

Everyone can go back to wishing bad things on Z, because there's always the next time. The guy has 9 lives, and he's still working them off apparently.

She may have told one of the cops that she 'might be pregnant' and it got taken out of context.

4. Who knows what to believe

It's always possible everyone is lying about everything involving this latest saga. Unless there is physical evidence, we may never know the truth.

7. How about we just let the news report when facts become available and are verified?

Right now, all we know was that Zimmerman was in fact arrested and booked (unlike the incident a couple of months ago with the former wife) and that he's being held without bond pending a first appearance hearing.

That means the police have to have something on him. What it is, we'll see.

"George Zimmerman was charged Monday with aggravated assault with a weapon, battery and criminal mischief after his girlfriend claimed he pointed a long-barreled shotgun at her inside their residence, Florida police told reporters during a press conference Monday.

After police responded to her 911 call, Zimmerman had pushed his girlfriend out of the home in Apopka, and had barricaded himself inside. A table was broken inside the residence, and Zimmerman was not holding a weapon at the time. Police said there were at least two weapons inside the home.

The aggravated assault charge is a felony, and the other two charges are misdemeanors.

I sincerely hope he faces some punishment for this crime.

It makes me ill to think he feels like he's invulnerable, or some sort of celebrity that can continue acting this way.

Ahhhh, but an Ariel Castro type ending would be a fine way to conclude this novel, wouldn't it?
