Georgia lawmaker compares women to cows and pigs

Republican Georgia state Rep. Terry England says that his experience with cows, pigs and chickens has proven to him that women should be forced to have their babies after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

In a debate over Georgia House Bill 954, which would ban abortions after 20 weeks even if the baby is not expected to live, England recalled the time he had spent with livestock.

“Life gives us many experiences,” he explained. “I’ve had the experience of delivering calves, dead and alive — delivering pigs, dead and alive. … It breaks our hearts to see those animals not make it.”

I bet he would be shocked to learn that there is another use for sheep--wool.

Yes, Mr. England, tell us more about the time you spent with livestock.......post videos online for us.

They discover a condition where one steals all the nutrition from the other. Both are usually mentally and physically challenged for life. We had 3 set in my building in the 80's. Once I met a woman who delivered a case like that and both were dead. Why be forced to go through that.

I don't think they give very deep thoughts to these bills, just tossing red meat to appease the anti-choice. Each pregnancy as like each human being is different. We are not livestock.
