Holy hell. Found this little nugget in a local report on George Zimmerman's latest escapade:

http://www.wesh.com/trayvon-martin-extended-coverage/george-zimmerman-arrested-for-domestic-violence/-/14266478/23030620/-/mum7eh/-/index.html

He was arrested at about 1 p.m. Monday at his girlfriend's home on Topfield Court in Apopka following a 911 call. Neighbors told WESH 2 News that they didn't know the woman was dating Zimmerman, and they thought the man might have been an undercover cop because he walked around like an officer.

Talk about learning nothing. This man has to be the dumbest human being to ever walk the earth not named Bush or Palin.

Good to have you with us! This is freakin' NUTS. That this guy is STILL allowed to walk free when he is just never out of trouble. The Trayvon Martin acquittal (he's an unrepentent murderer in my book, having seen all the evidence presented and studied the case as much as I could as a civilian) was in July. It's November. Forcryingoutloud - that's four MONTHS. And he's been detained by police and in and out of the slammer several times just since then?

How long do we let this walking Russian Roulette case keep walking around? How long is it okay? Seems once a month he gets himself into trouble. And it's always somebody else's fault, boo-hoo.

He's a menace to society. And it was so shattering to me, all over again, to read one of the comments for how painful and frighteningly true it was. Someone posted about how he should be put away before he kills someone. And another poster replied to that post with "...before he kills someone ELSE." He's got at least one unpunished murder to his credit. Wonder how many more there'll be before he's finally and decisively prevented from being a public menace? He's a walking disaster, just waiting to happen.

He wants to be one of the good guys, really, he just can't because his hair trigger temper gets in the way. And when the cops in Florida spot you, it's really, really bad.

The only way he won't end up in prison eventually is if he ends up dead first.

Because any killing he does is likely to be relatively unpremeditated (due to that hair trigger as you so aptly name it), it'll be Second Degree & there will be no death penalty.

Mon Nov 18, 2013, 07:34 PM

a couple of years ago is that there is no time limit on long it takes to establish premeditation. For example, it you are in a dangerous situation and are able to move yourself to an area where you are safe, should you decide to turn back into the area of danger you are now acting with premeditation.

We had a situation where two young kids went into a pharmacy in an attempt to commit robbery. The pharmacist grabbed a gun and shot one of the boys. He chased the second boy out of the building (but that boy got away). At this point the pharmacist is safe because he left the building. After he chased off the boy, he chose to re-enter the building, walked by the boy on the floor (turning his back to the boy as he went to the back to change out the guns for a second loaded gun). He then walked back up to the front of the store and proceeded to shoot the boy several more times, killing him. The first shot was justified, the additional shots were not and he was convicted and is sitting in prison for premeditated murder. The security video showed the whole thing.

in which the first, disabling, shot is self-defense & the subsequent shots are murder. Nevertheless, there is a distinction between the amount of premeditation involved in 1º and 2º murder. Getting a second gun & going back to the scene is different than firing 3 rounds in 5 seconds, the last 2 of which may not have been necessary for self-defense.

When I hear people talk about overpopulation, I agree; there are too many people on this planet, and we are eating ourselves out of house and planet. However, there is one question that never gets addressed.

If the smart people stop breeding, the stupid ones will step it up, aided by churches and politicians. Zimmerman is a fine exmaple of someone that should not be allowed to breed.

This reminds me of the Josh Wade case, the jury let him go, then he kidnapped a nurse practitioner and mudrered her.
It's sad someone else had to be harmed in order to get thus guy off the streets. They should have arrested him for the attack on his father in law.

I still remember when the full force of the Gungeon was armed and trigger happy, ready to defend the poor widdle George against that scary kid with the skittles. The fact he had been violent with his wife, propaganda they said, the fact he was violent with an officer, propaganda, they said.

Now of course, you can even hear Zimmerman refuse to talk to the cops, and say "you will just do what you did before," as if every 911 operator should know who the hell he is.

Now of course, the man has been shown to be a menace, and as much as this should be the end of him, well, ours is the state that elected Rick Scott, so I half expect this idiot to be in politics.

It's over. The illusion is no more. And with his history in the very short time since, it appears that he has very serious issues. I would be easily tempted to start a Zimmerman death watch. 2 years maybe? The man has issues.

His wife and family got tired of his shit, divorced him and threw him out.

Looks like he's already run out of money, was doing the classic psycho tactic of sponging off the girlfriend.

Now the girlfriend's thrown him out, and he got his ass arrested again going violent on her, pointing a shotgun at her and smashing up her house.

Looks like he's gonna be couch-surfing for a while, then he may end up sleeping in his truck or under the bridge.

I think it's only a matter of time before he completely loses it - probably end up being a suicide-by-cop.
