Today's Republican Talking Point: heads to roll at HHS over Obamacare snafu.

Good morning, DU! So here's your nice, new minty fresh puke talking point as being pushed on Morning Joe today!

They don't say who is going to be axed at HHS, just muttering darkly that it will happen. They aren't saying it's Sibelius, so it's unclear whether this a made up out of whole cloth or if there are just hints somewhere, somehow.

OR, it could just be a new talking point designed solely to demoralize Dems. Without any "legs" to the rumor, I remain dubious...but we shall see!

convinced that bad things "couldn't" happen and all would be well. Not good either way, IMO.

Yes, this is a no-win situation for HHS. The website is one thing, but making Obama look like a liar is another and far more serious...

The ACA will help close to 40 million Americans get access to health insurance that they would otherwise have no access to.

So who should we blame for that fiasco?

that is, if you want to know what the other side is up to. It's kinda entertaining, I must say. You hear the talking point being established by Joe Scar and then it goes into the RW media echo chamber for the rest of the day on msnbc.

I'm onto them and their tactics but it's fun to watch for a bit. Then turn off the set.

Or don't bother. I wouldn't blame you certainly!

... stagnant closed minds not to be stupid. It's the human equivalent of trying to teach higher math skills to swine.

I don't have to "turn the set off." It doesn't ever get turned on to the mind-numbing swill and propaganda that passes for "news" on the idiot box.

the real question is when will the right wing mega noise machine realize most people are starting to tune them out, especially on this issue.

Best advice turn the channel on morning scum, that program is fake couch morning show lite.

No really when I was watching that show as soon as the shut down was over every day joe blow says some one should be fired. Glad to see things haven't changed and that I am not missing real news by not watching that show.

that's basically why I stopped watching him. his favorite thing since the major butt kicking his party took in 2012 is to claim baggers still have nationally competitive candidates in walker and jindal etc. - which is complete hog wash. Actually pretty much everything that spews from his mouth is pure hog wash.

Or wait remember how joe of all people calling out the fake news and limpballs type programing for misleading people and playing on hate and fear. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. joe does that most every time he is near a mike or a keyboard.

The worst shows are when that bush shrill, whats her face, (wallace in think), stays on the show for longer then one segment. I can't stand her for one segment much less 3 hours. But then add those two DC gossip writers hawking their books ... puke

How can you stand it? I salute you for having the stomach to endure that right wing propaganda.

Let us know when joe scum isn't on the show - he does have a book to promote and he takes lots of days off regardless. I can take watching morning joe when joe isn't there. The show is so much better, even when the bagger talking heads are on.

And she really, really needs voice modulation therapy. Her voice is annoying as hell...

I do a fair amount of yelling at the TV set when Joe starts his nonsense but lately I take a more nuanced view of what he does. And I just watch the opening segment and wait to see who will be on. I like some of their guests like Howard Dean and Lawrence O'Donnell (who was on today) and some senators and reps. The show does have some pretty good guests...I skip the bad ones and turn the show off entire after about an hour...I also mute certain people for the entirety of their spiel...

I often took to flipping the bird over joe's head, yelling and often reaching for the remote to either mute or turn the volume down. My heart was starting to hurt and I was always mad. <-- me then, me now -->

I endured mostly because like you I like a lot of the people they have on as either guests or contributors. Like when Barnacle and Giest were reading the transcripts from Whitey Bulger's trial. That was hilarious.

My final straw was when joe went on about how Bill Clinton is lying about the Medicaid part D roll out. I had put up with his crap for several years but that for me was my limit. I flipped the channel and I haven't watched that show since.

But you know what, so far it doesn't sound like he has any new ideas on bashing President Obama's administration. Its the same shit different day. They really need to start coming up with new material for their stand up comedy routine, because the old stuff is getting well, old and rather fast.
