I was just checking the storms, on weatherunderground. There is a nasty looking line of storms approaching Michigan, from the west.

Although these forecast maps do change from hour to hour. None the less, I'm doing the storm prep I usually do in the Spring.

Weather Radar looks nasty for the Chicago/Michigan area for the rest of today.

It was terrible.

We've had lots of winds blow through here in Iowa today but nothing tornadic. I think we are a the edge of the zone of risk for such weather.

Stay safe.

Stay safe, everyone. Been through this more times than I can count (live in Oklahoma). Don't take chances, these things are unpredictable!

Downers Grove is a western suburb of Chicago. We had some high winds and heavy rain with hail, but no devastation to compare with the pics in the OP. It was freakishly warm this morning, then the temps dropped when the storm hit. It's nice out now by me, partly sunny.

I've been watching the coverage since the Bears game was delayed in the first quarter, set to resume ~2:30 Central (about a 2 hour delay). They pulled the players from the field and evacuated the stands.
