We've had lots of winds blow through here in Iowa today but nothing tornadic. I think we are a the edge of the zone of risk for such weather.

(12,870 posts)Downers Grove is a western suburb of Chicago. We had some high winds and heavy rain with hail, but no devastation to compare with the pics in the OP. It was freakishly warm this morning, then the temps dropped when the storm hit. It's nice out now by me, partly sunny.
I've been watching the coverage since the Bears game was delayed in the first quarter, set to resume ~2:30 Central (about a 2 hour delay). They pulled the players from the field and evacuated the stands.
