CBS did not try to make a controversy over his burial at Arlington. CBS discussed the fact that Kennedy was visiting Arlington one day and mentioned that he could stay at the area surrounding the Lee mansion forever. He was buried at the bottom of the hill where the Lee mansion sits. The story also discussed where Jackie Kennedy got the idea for an eternal flame and identified the man who was tasked with the job of creating the flame for JFK's gravesite.
