I don't really don't like Hillary or Christie, but I would love to work my butt off for Bernie.

(94,598 posts)...but I would seriously ask, setting aside the fact that -YOU- like him, how you imagine Sanders gets a majority of Electoral votes with an electorate that will give minimum of 45% of its votes to the Republican, no matter whom it is?

(11,804 posts)Not in the sense of being like Goldwater in positions at all, of course, but more in someone who waves the flag for genuine liberalism, and even if he loses turns back the tide of an America who sees Liberalism/Socialism as dirty words.
