Fabulous Thunderbirds demand Rush Limbaugh stop using their music

http://www.kwtx.com/news/headlines/Fabulous_Thunderbirds_Issue_An_Ultimatum_141996563.html

NEW YORK (March 8, 2012)--The Fabulous Thunderbirds want no part of conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh's show and singer Kim Wilson says the band is demanding that Limbaugh stop using their song "Tuff Enuff" and other of their recordings on his show.

The demand is in response to Limbaugh calling a Georgetown University law student a "slut" and a "prostitute" when she testified before Congress about contraception.

Wilson said he was "mortified by his attack on this young woman."

"There is no amount of money this guy could pay me to be a part of his cruel rhetoric,” he said.

I've heard Rush use Judas Priest songs too. I think I'll drop a line to Glenn Tipton about it.

At Antone's, at Zilker Park, among other places. Those were the days.

Good for the T-Birds. And Rage Against the Machine, too, I see. Why would Rush play Rage? He's everything they loathe and vice versa.
