So despite all the ReTHUG efforts to steal the elections in Virginia

Democrats came up with a clean sweep.
Will M$Greedia finally accept that these results are significantly more relevant proof of the rejection of fugged up RW policies than Christie's victory in New Jersey.

Get out the Vote for 2014 and wipe them out.

Congrats Virginia Dems.

because it's within 0.5%...actually it's within 0.0002%...this automatically goes to recount and current AG and former gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuchinelli gets to write the rules of that recount. Expect he isn't done trying to steal it yet.

Specifically, who is making up rules, and what the heck are you talking about?

Coochienelly got the state board of elections to change a long standing rule, so that anyone who cast a provisional ballet had to come in person to argue their rights to have their vote counted. This rule was for Fairfax County ONLY.

Now you know what heck I'm talking about!

It's still not over in any case. The state is on the hook for the recount under 24.2-802.E.iii

E. Costs of the recount shall be assessed against the counties and cities comprising the election district when (i) the candidate petitioning for the recount is declared the winner; (ii) the petitioners in a recount of a referendum win the recount; or (iii) there was between the candidate apparently nominated or elected and the candidate petitioning for the recount a difference of not more than one-half of one percent of the total vote cast for the two such candidates as determined by the State Board or electoral board prior to the recount. Otherwise the costs of the recount shall be assessed against the candidate petitioning for the recount or the petitioners in a recount of a referendum. If more than one candidate petitions for a recount, the court may assess costs in an equitable manner between the counties and cities and any such candidate if both are liable for costs under this subsection. Costs incurred to date shall be assessed against any candidate or petitioner who defaults or withdraws his petition.

Nothing else in my post was incorrect. This is going to recount and possibly to election contest and from there possibly to the courts. We're a long way from over and the "rules" are Cooch's to write based on his interpretation of the statute as the previous procedure used in Deeds v. McDonnell is void due to the statute being replaced between then and now.

The courts will sort him out shortly - as a non-elected citizen with way less power than he assumed. He need only ask his side-kick Governor Vaginal Probe.
