For days, conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh personally attacked Georgetown Law student and women’s health advocate Sandra Fluke, smearing her at least 70 times. Now, he’d like to pretend that some of the things he said never actually happened.

The Atlantic Wire points out that his website has scrubbed a few offensive comments. While the “slut” comments still show up in other rants by Limbaugh, his site has removed his sex tapes comment from March 1. “The pages were clearly working a few days ago — several sites linked to them,” Elspeth Reeve reports.

“The pages don’t show up on the February 29 and March 1 archives, either, though links to them still exist on other transcripts related to the controversy.” Here’s the blank archives page for February 29:

Most people I know would feel that they have been assualted in some way if someone demanded a sex tape because they are entitled to it due to the fact that the asker/demander somehow deserves it. Those comments weren't even directed at me and I felt violated. I know weird, but it is as if Rush thinks that if you give someone money you are entitled to invade their privacy. In this case it isn't even real money it is imaginary money because no one was asking for public funding, we/they/she are asking for insurance company policies to be more uniform between secular and religious.

Last week, I wanted to make sure I had my talking points straight so I went to the site and saved the transcripts for Wed-Fri. I had no idea that they would be scrubbed. Sorry, Rush, but once it's on the Internets, it's forever!
