He said they had an "opportunity" to defeat Obamacare and they blew it.
He said he didn't like to get into the "coulda, woulda" quarterbacking but he blamed Republican leaders for not putting in more money and effort behind Cuccinelli.
He went into a rant about how evil the "Democrat Party" is and how they are not even "liberals" - they are "collectivists". They are Communist...etc...etc.
Obviously, Mr Limbaugh was very wounded by the loss in Virginia. He thought McCauliffe was a weak opponent and could have been beaten, if only the Party had gotten behind him.
Just another perspective on last night's elections.

(154,021 posts)Rush is correct, McCaulliffe was a very weak candidate, but Cuccinnelli was just awful. A moderate would have kept the governorship. That is the point Rush is missing. (Ok, in his mind that would be a RINO)

I guess I'd rather be a "collectivist" than a sociopath.

"We said this race was a referendum on Obamacare, and although I lost, tonight you sent a message to the president of the United States that you believe -- that Virginia understands that Obamacare is a failure and that you want to be in charge of your health care -- not the government.
