{how much for this fucker?}US plans for hypersonic robot spy plane revealed

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-24803511

The SR-72 could be capable of flying at Mach 6 said Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin has begun work on a successor to the supersonic Blackbird SR-71 spy plane.

The unmanned SR-72 will use an engine that combines a turbine and a ramjet to reach its top speed of Mach 6 - about 3,600mph (5,800km/h).

Like its predecessor, the SR-72 will be designed for high-altitude surveillance but might also be fitted with weapons to strike targets.

Lockheed said the aircraft should be operational by 2030.

$$$$$'s for better ground imaging and targeting, which makes all our other weapon systems of death more deathly efficient! still a waste..but it carries no weapons.

Now why would anyone think that? We gotta keep an eye on them wedding parties and elementary schools buildings. No telling where them terrorist are hiding. Never mind we gots to kill'em before we know for sure they are terrorists. That's their fault for living being there in the first place.

For the conservative Liberals among us that have a problem getting sarcasm --->
