I think the Republicans have tampered with the website

There are too many intelligent and thoughtful people working on this for it to have failed so miserably as far as the website goes.

Even the insurance companies could have been influenced in some way to pull this off the first week of the site opening, and ALSO, they didn't have to send a cancellation letter infuriating everyone if they are bound to cover for 90 days...deadline for Obamacare is 3/31. After all, they had the President's assurance that their policies were valid and would not have been a problem to honor, along with new policies.

I think they have moles working on the website, and the President ought to get Snowden, offer him forgiveness, acquittal, whatever, just to figure out what the hell is going on with the website. That's what I'd do.

Too too many things going wrong and the Reps are so ready with their criticisms that they had to be prepared for Oct. 1 much better than we were...

I just don't trust them.

Blitzer and Kate Baldwin were all happy about the hearing. That goofy Baldwin said that Sebelius showed her frustration, anger by saying, "Whatever," and Baldwin sounded so shocked that she spoke that way to a Congressman.....mark her down for a Fox trainee too.

Neither BlitZer nor Baldwin found it necessary to tell the audience that the Republican congressman, save one I think, did not ever let her finish a sentence. Of course not, it would take time away from their pitiful speeches, and they were interested in telling the public what they had to say, not let them hear what Sebelius had to say.

I hate them, and I can't think of any other group I dislike more.

election was over, the creation and implementation was rushed and testing on the site for bug just wasn't performed adequately. There were big problems with the Medicare Part B computer role out.

The better explanation is that due to a rush to get it up and running quality control suffered.

Rushes can be manufactured, especially when so much of the stuff brought up didn't bear fruit, just wasted time and money....

It's certainly plausible, and I'm certain the scumfucks in the right-wing would do it gleefully.

Possibly some of the slowdowns are due to DDOS attacks. And who knows if the developers properly sanitize input to protect against SQL injections or similar shenanigans.

And if the contractors that worked on the project had right-wingers in their management or development teams, they could have put some trojan code in there.

And IIRC, I heard on the news that on top of all the other problems that healthcare.gov has, there are security problems.

I would not be surprised if in the next few days or weeks, we hear about the site getting pwn3d, or of user data (which could be pretty sensitive) getting compromised.

but none of them make them popular enough to win the election...I think they'd rather bring it down surreptitiously because they prefer cheating to winning outright.
