Sorry if someone else pointed this out... still learning this forum format.
Twice during the hearing today, I heard Republicans say the website was down. Both time, I immediately steered over to healthcare.gov and both times the website opened right up. Not only that, the website was pretty darn fast... at least for browsing plans in my state (Indiana, which does not have its own exchange).
I commenced to shouting and shaking my fist at my computer screen!

We are experiencing technical difficulties and hope to have them resolved soon. Please try again later.
In a hurry? You might be able to apply faster at our Marketplace call center. Call 1-800-318-2596 to talk with one of our trained representatives about applying over the phone.

(3,249 posts).... and the opening page would open pretty fast, but when I clicked on the "Apply Online" and my State (Texas - so it goes to the fed exchange) it gave me the "The system is down at the moment." page. I could not fill in the info or browse any plans.
Still does not work this afternoon.
