The GOP Wants To Shut Down More Than Govt. They Are Determined To Shut Down Elections.

The GOP is confident that they will still prevail despite the government shut down. They are counting on the media to rescue them as the MSM continues to do their bidding. Just look at how the MSM is helping the GOP on Obamacare. And if that is not bad enough they are actively and aggressively working to shut down elections as well. Voter suppression, voter Id, intimidation, gerrymandering, voting center manipulation et al are all meant to stop every voter who does not support a GOPPER. They would be perfectly happy is they could lock up all other voters except Republicans.

The sad part is that they may very well succeed in ruling as small minority because they will still be in place to halt government. The war on voting is really just starting. How long will it be before they outlaw any thought but GOP thought?

Republican voters, and in numbers they aren't anticipating. For example, in Texas, that attempt to make it hard for married women to vote is going to backfire on them, I'm certain. Stuff backfires on a guy, sometimes.

Plus I will bet the suppression laws will only be applied to targeted voters. I very GOP districts I will bet that GOPPERS who do not have the documents will vote anyway. Who will be around to stop the unequal treatment? The GOP is that crass in that they will ignore the laws they have passed when it effects their supporters. There are a lot of local areas in the South and in some northern states where the GOP runs everything including the authorities who would police the laws.

It will be interesting. Of course, the Attorney General of the U.S. is looking into these things even now. There may be more about this down the road a little.

needs to make sure their information is updated and correct months before voting. It's a phone call to the board of elections that must be made every single year. Let them get sick of us having to constantly call - it'll prove our point nicely.
