She stated that a woman in Arizona with breast cancer is frantic to get on the exchange because her insurance runs out in December. Went on to say that the woman spends hours and hours on the computer trying to get in and sign up for insurance, but to no avail.
Well, if she were really that frantic (if she even exists) she could just pick up the phone and enroll the old, tried and true way. I call CNN b.s. and bias!

(32,975 posts)some companies have bought bare bones/catastrophic insurance so the company could state they have "insurance".....and it has away an unaffordable policy so someone making minimum wage( federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour) who wants to cover living cost of a home, food, the kids(if s/he has any), food toilet paper, laundry soap, bus transportation could not afford it...you can feed your kids and your self
OR
you can pay an insurance company

Or another great one from them. No bias, no script there, uh?
Running with a script written by their masters and wishful thinking, reporting something that had not happened yet, but all sure it would go as planned, more of their fact-free reporting, just like their buddies at FNN:
In A Rush To Be First, CNN, FOX, Huffington Post and TIME Get Supreme Court Story Exactly Wrong

BREAKING NEWS: #SCOTUS struck down individual mandate for #healthcare. #CNN
CNN: Supreme Court releases health care opinion, rules individual mandate unconstitutional

As their script was being delivered to ALL OF THEM, they filled the airwaves with crap like this:
Oh, yeah! Don't even have to wait for the LIES ALL THE TIME media to keep working hard for thei salaries paid by owners of the Teahadists to screw up 2014. They're doing their job to misinform us now...

(338 posts)Maybe the media will blame them for these "hardship" cases. They should have joined the enrollment process. Staying out of the process makes no sense to me. Shame on them for putting politics above helping those in need of medical insurance.

(26,549 posts)If her insurance runs out in December then no exchange plan will help her. They all start January 1.

(36,926 posts)If she signs up for the ACA she'll be fine.

Share with everyone who may know someone who may be needing individual insurance some day...because the media can't be bothered and national Dem politicians are busy with other stuff. There is misinformation and pure bullshit all around. The facts are straight from the source.
