That Cheney's legacy was that he brought Torture the US and made it "acceptable", here and around the world, and he joked about it.

on 1200 radio stations, many of which do it while wearing the logos of our state funded university sports teams, made it acceptable.

cheney just helped set it up- it was all that unchallenged repetition that made it a joking matter, its critics softies and traitors, and made it 'acceptbable'.

and some will be defending him loudly and forcefully if there's any move to prosecute (that's why he goes on limbaugh), there is little chance of prosecution. same with any of the other bush and reagan criminals. the unchallenged ubiquitous RW radio monopoly of our air waves is the main reason why these criminals walk free, not obama or holder. they have an army of idiot teabagger/dittoheads at their disposal.

The ruling class embrace Dickhead Cheney because they dont give a crap about the lives of the 99%.

I swear I heard Baba Wawa say, "Let them have cake." or maybe it was Baba Bush.

This is a class war and their class has all the resources.

I know that nothing is going to happen. I know that there is nothing I can about it. So there is no point in gettinggetting my blood pressure and heart rate both up over it. Giving myself a stroke or heart attack won't do anything to him so I ignore him.

Because the the President does it, it's not against the law. - Richard M. Nixon.

While satisfying to hear these 20/20 speeches, it isn't anything any of us didn't think at the time. Why does it take 8 years for some people to figure out wrong from wrong???

And we live with that damning burden; complicit, shamed, and largely too apathetic to make the drastic renunciation called for by everything we supposedly stand for. George Washington would weep at our fall from grace.
