During Bill Maher‘s hour-long sit-down with Piers Morgan Tuesday night, they broached the subject of Ted Cruz. Maher admitted Cruz has a legitimate shot at winning the Republican primary in 2016 because for decades, he argued, the GOP have been masters of dredging up the “are you kidding me” candidates.

Maher Goes Off on Obamacare Failures with Piers Morgan: Shouldn’t Have ‘Lied to People’

Late night host Bill Maher joined Piers Morgan at the table on Tuesday night to talk all about Obamacare, and Maher was (with some reservations) incredibly critical of the rollout and agreed that President Obama “lied to people” about insurance.

I can't say that I disagreed with anything that Bill Maher said tonight. He was spot on.

3. What kills me is the statement I hear all the time. "He's Harvard educate so he is a smart man."

I have met and worked around some of the most ignorant "Harvard educated" people in existence. Having a sheep skin from any college does not make one smart or rich or omnipresent. Ted Cruz is walking and talking proof. He may be conniving, but smart? He is an opportunist and a cynical narcissist. He is also a damn coward. Being 'educated' make one 'educated' about the subject they studied and it demonstrates a willingness to see something through. (Even if it's a dumb idea.) It does not necessarily make one a genius or expert. It makes one educated in an area they could potentially be employed. Maher said this about Cruz in tht he could be a Presidential nominee.
