Obama's remarks were responses to the RW memes that "Obama's gonna take your health care away".

I suppose he could have qualified his remarks by adding, "until 2014, companies will still be able to turn you down, raise your rates, and refuse to treat you for certain conditions, and we seek to end that".

Sheesh!
