19. The DU Facebook group is not moderated, near as I can tell

Perhaps it CAN'T be, I am not an expert on Facebook tools for such a purpose. As such all kinds of trolls and other pointless people post on it. I joined the group a good while back but rarely find any reason to post anything, or respond to those who do. I think the guy you are referring to had a post hidden here and is having a small meltdown over it. It's not hard to figure out who though I don't see any purpose in naming them. Alcohol can convince a person to do very self-destructive things.

Too many rightwing trolls for my tastes there. But RW trolls seem to be a staple on facebook. Even Being Liberal is full of them.

Here on the actual DU they usually get them banned pretty quickly.

obviously created a Facebook account just to spam the page. He shows having no friends (surprise, surprise) and sports a Gadsen flag next to his creepy picture. I have a pretty good idea who it is and he was indeed banned recently, however is back again with a new account.
