The Republican Primary is the biggest Fuck Up in 50 years

It's Super Tuesday class and guess what? Close is BAD for the right wing. You've got the "Jesus Christers" versus the "Oh shit this is our only choice against Santorum" crowd. Once again there is no clear leader at all. Mittens and Frothy will continue to duke it out now for months. Keep it up bozos...and oh yeah make sure Rush keeps talking too.

On his MSNBC show on Saturday he was talking about the fact that each state makes its own primary rules and that has been an "unmitigated disaster."

Understatement of the year.

can't produce a sound primary system to get a nominee? They were so worried about producing a system of marketing with a 6-9 month campaign that would allow Republicans to dominate the news with republican talking points they never worried about the actual nuts and bolts of the machinery. Now you have caucuses where the wrong winner is announced, voters left outside unable to vote, counties who's votes are thrown out, states who's whole elections are for nothing, states where half the people running aren't on the ballot in every county or at all... no doubt the "winners" tonight will be whoever can get the real kool aide drinkers delegates later on.

Fundamentally I need a government that works and the Republicans who constructed this have shown they simply can't produce functioning systems of government.

to get enough delegates to win at the convention on the first ballot. After the first ballot, the delegates are free to vote for anyone they want. That's when the back door shenanigans will start. Apparently, Romney simply won't be able to wrap it up because he's very unpopular down south.
