that's why DA's and Defense lawyers like to back up eyewitness testimony with forensic and physical evidence.

26 years I can tell you that eyewitnesses are wrong much more often than right. No one in their right mind would bring a case based solely on eyewitness testimony. Nothing delusional about that, except your belief that eyewitness "testimony" should be treated as gospel.

The facts will come out upon investigation. Jumping to conclusions based on one (or muptiple) eyewitness statements is never a good idea.

it's a fact that eyewitness accounts are inherently unreliable, sometimes by design, sometimes not, that's why no DA wants to go to trial with eyewitness testimony only, they want scientific and physical evidence to back up the eyewitness.

12. Wouldn't they have to talk to them first to determin that

2 of the Witnesses waited at the Memorial for 5 days waiting for some one to ask them what they saw.

Talk about some one working to prove a predetermined outcome

did the investigators know about these eyewitnesses? Why didn't these 2 go to the investigators to give their statements?
Not blaming the 2 witnesses, just trying to sort this out.
There should also be a dash cam video that will help sort this mess out.

You should try reading some of the older post over on the Facebook page. Another person claims he witnessed the shooting and the kid was still alive after the first bullet had dropped him to the ground. Except he had fallen on top of the airsoft gun and was moving around. That's when the deputy put 6 more bullets into little Johny Lopez

I know its not right for me to post heresay and I have avoided it. But when asked as with the 1 woman they will tell you and the courts what they saw. Only problem is no one is asking them
