Driver dies after losing control on Hwy 50 in Town of Delavan

WALWORTH COUNTY,Wis. —Highway 50 near Town Hall Road in the Town of Delavan is now open after a serious early morning crash.
The single-vehicle crash occurred just after 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Town of Delavan police said officers in Lake Geneva spotted the car traveling at a high rate of speed around 4:27 a.m.
Officers gave chase for a short time, and the car failed to negotiate a curve on Highway 50 just north of Town Hall Road around 4:33 a.m.
Police said a man who was driving the car was pronounce dead at the scene.
