Why S.E. Cupp is considered any sort of serious commentator worthy of Sunday shows is truly beyond me, but evidently the bookers at This Week with George Stephanopoulis thought an Art History major carries knowledge of health care issues with it.
Evidently her deep, careful study of health care and young people has led her to this conclusion:There's two problems, one is the technological, sort of mechanics of this. Obamacare relies on Millennials, these young invincibles who have never bought health insurance in the past, to suddenly change their behavior and buy something they don't think they need. And in some cases can't afford. That mechanical issue remains to be seen and the web site rollout has affected that.
Gosh, I guess Cupp missed the 2012 campaign where people went nuts every time Obama mentioned letting them stay on their parents' policies until they're 26? Or story after story of how a young person couldn't qualify for health insurance because they were treated for acne when they were teens?
I could go on, but Governor Dean delivered the goods not only to Cupp, but also to George Stephanopoulis who ought to know better...

(1,805 posts)my husband can not stand the woman! He says just looking at her eyes (through those glasses) is enough for him. I wonder if she really needs them or just wears them to try to look intelligent. Ha, whatever, it isn't working!

(12,647 posts)I also believe her glasses are not prescription. I remember seeing a camera behind her one time, you could see through her glasses from behind, and they were just plain glass. She's as phony as they come.

(3,759 posts)... there are probably some women on television your husband would watch that don't merit his attention on their ideas alone.
I know that's the case for me.
He has a thing for lovely Latina ladies ala Penelope Cruz. Ha, I don't think he would care if she would be wearing bifocals! Can't forget Selma Hayek, Sofia Vergara and Eva Mendes! Forget the Jennifer Lopez types for some reason. (Like when she opens her mouth).
He even collects Mexican and Spanish beer trays from the 1930s onward with gorgeous girls on them. They really are pretty cool. And here I am, of Norwegian and German heritage. I do have brown eyes, and that's where the similarity ends!
