Does it matter to anybody here who "wins" tonight? (Original Post) MoonRiver Mar 2012 OP

Mitt Romney will change his name to Mr. Moderate and won't be that easy to beat. Santourm on the other hand will be a piece of cake.

We shouldn't ignore tonight, IMO.

I really thought he was electable before the onslaught of Rethug superpac attacks. They've done themselves in, imo. I'm still watching however. Mainly out of morbid curiosity.

Eventually they're going to run Romney anyway. I just like to see them drag out the shitfight, exposing the truth about each other. The more of that stuff people see now, the more disgust they'll be feeling over the whole Republican brand.

What could be better than watching these Republicans expose each others shortcomings. Pass the popcorn, I hope it goes on till august.

I do care somewhat who wins tonight. I wanted to see Santorum bounce back after losing last week since he's behind Romney by over 100 delegates, so the race can get dragged on longer. I also figured we'd have an easier time not only winning re-election, but gaining a super-majority with Santorum as the nominee. But I guess it doesn't make much of a difference...

critical. If it's Romney, we're okay. If it's not, I think we're kind of screwed.

I doubt the contest will be over after tonight.

Paul isn't gonna cave, and with victory in GA, neither is the Newter.

Indeed, keep the popcorn popping.

But that's probably not gonna happen.

Still, Rmoney came out of this one by the skin of his teeth, which means the Clown Car is gonna keep going for a few more weeks, and Rmoney is gonna come out badly wounded.

I've learned to never underestimate the stupidity of the voting public. This is the same country that elected Bush twice, and whose states have elected people like Bachmann, Santorum, Rick Perry, Alan West, Marco Rubio, and Marcia Blackburn.

I'll rest easy when Obama is re-elected, but not before then.
