unintentional benefit of the healthcare.gov fuckup ....

Rightnow everybody, I mean everybody, is talking about it. Every single channel, radio station talking head is talking how disastrous the launch has been ... but all that is hopefully temporary

and now that the Government seems fairly confident that problems can be fixed by Nov 30 .... Everyone is going be training their microscopes, telescopes, periscopes and anything else they can to focus on the website ... what their detractors are missing out on is the fact is that they are giving tremendous publicity to the site as a vehicle to deliver healthcare to the uninsured ...

this is after republicans threatened the NFL from publicizing the law....

Republicans are acting soooooo deeply concerned that many good well-intended folks are not able to sign up for their health care insurance benefits under the law. Yes, of course they are soooooo empathetic toward those who are not having success getting signed up. And when the site is up and running they will be soooooo relieved that their constituents can finally participate in this program. As for the here and now, if the GOP was truly against Obamacare, they would be wildly celebrating the website glitches effectively sparing people the godawful horror of Obamacare. But instead they appear quite concerned. Well they are, aren't they??????

if they need help. Planned parenthood and many local clinics and drugstores would be happy to help. America existed long before websites were created. There are many ways to sign up for things.

Plus the website glitches are mainly to do with the subsidy determination function, which is quite complex. Those who don't need subsidies can sign up easily through other sites like ehealthinsurance.com.

The other wonderful thing about this, is that many news sites are pointing out that the states who have implemented their own exchanges are having a better experience. Since those systems are smaller and simpler. States under GOP control are having more difficulties with lots of things. This should help us with elections.
