The Guardian is reporting, and not Greenwald for those who detest him, that the NSA memo indicates that the intelligence agency was asking for any phone numbers of foreign politicians and other political leaders that could be monitored.

I wonder how many phone calls the President is going to have to take about this now? Please note the use of the word routine in the monitoring of those numbers. Great success although little useful intelligence has been gained.

The 35 are just the result of one official sharing his Rolodex.

So far, Germany,Japan, and Brazil have yelled about this...
