(14,881 posts)2. yes, another DUer posted that they did call Session's office
and Sessions denies it, as does President Obama.
Your threads on this are a little late to the party -- it's been all over GD today. And it has been debunked -- Whitehouse Deputy Chief of Staff erroneously reported it to Reid, who shared it at caucus meeting, where Durbin heard it and then posted it on his facebook. You may want to self-delete your threads...it's been hashed to death at this point.

(14,881 posts)4. it's possible that the Deputy Chief of Staff volunteered or was chosen to be the sacrificial lamb in
all this, but so far although there are claims that 2 other senators directly heard it, neither of them is forthcoming.
Reid was informed by the Deputy Chief of Staff, and Durbin was informed by Reid. Neither of them heard it directly.
