1. Adelson's an awful person.

He's an ultra-extreme Zionist, so he can't stand the idea that the U.S. and Iran would have anything less than a tense, adversarial relationship. Since he was such a huge supporter of Romney, I think we would be at war with Iran right now had Romney won. Thankfully, he's so extreme that only a few other lunatics would ever agree with anything he said, but all his money does tend to put everything he says in the news, regardless.

Edit: I forgot to mention in this post that Iranians aren't Arabs; they're ethnic Persians. A lot of people make that mistake, and I wanted to remind the OP and others.
