Into The Mire

I was watching a very informative Nature program on PBS (KQED San Fran) and enjoying it immensely... and then, as a follow-up, I was graced with how a Bentley automobile was developed.

Thank Dog for the Koch Brothers! (urp)

The insipid, vapid dialog that pierced my being as the narrator licked boots, made me more angry than I have been in years. Everything I had just watched previously on Nature, was wrenched from my belly.

The unconditional lap-dog approach, was so counter to what (I thought) PBS is about, that I may never tune in again. The shit-heels that produced this program do not belong to any PBS station that I want any affiliation to. I feel sick to my stomach.

Faux news watchers are idiots.

PBS watchers are having their brains rotted as well with this tripe.

The media, on almost all levels, is an enemy.

Big sigh,

HCE

Were television and cable outlets to show programming that meant anything to our collective future, it would be too shocking to bear.

You are right, for the past twenty years or more the "left" programming has come more and more to resemble the right.

eom.

The one haven I have turned to is PBS for Mystery, Nova, and Inspector (name your fav) series.

As it stands now, that may need to be taboo, too... as I feel so disenchanted

when she spoke of her encounters with lawmakers she really trusted and had a high opinion of. She kept asking them, why don't you get this or that done, or into the spotlight, puzzled. The answer: it's the media.

When I compare what's on the excellent and independent The Real News Network with corporate news channels, it's rather chilling. What she said then is still true today.

It varies between dissembling crap ("News&quot and marketing crap (Advertising) and Offensive meaningless crap (the Shows themselves). It's not even entertaining any more.
