Cindy Sheehan announces run for Calif. governor

This person fascinates me. There was a time when she was on the news day in and day out. A few minutes ago I decided to do some googling to see what she's been up to and I read articles about her running for governor of California and she made that announcement back in August but this is the first I heard of it. I did a site search and then an advanced search here at DU to see if anyone has posted about her candidacy and I found none.

There was a period of time she was involved with Marxist groups. If she is now a Ron Paul fan, she is just all over the place.

the bench is pretty deep on the Democrat side -- Gavin Newsome, Kamala Harris, Debra Bowen, just to name a few. All strong names and all in line for either a governor seat or to take Feinstein's seat in 2018.

time to focus on something more directly related to your time in the news. Possibly antiwar movement and organizations focused on providing support for families of soldiers who died or were injured in combat.

Didn't Cindy get blown out of the water for California Senate or House run?
