Management, unions resuming negotiations in San Francisco rail strike

SAN FRANCISCO | Mon Oct 21, 2013 5:59pm EDT

(Reuters) - Management for San Francisco's Bay Area Rapid Transit district and unions representing striking commuter rail workers will resume negotiations on Monday in hopes of ending a four-day walkout that has snarled traffic across the region, a BART spokesman said.

A federal mediator would take part in the talks, BART spokesman Rick Rice said.
