(48,121 posts)My uncle was the republican mayor of Marietta for a spell, back in a day when the two parties were not so far apart on some issues (in a local sense). Most the people I knew from that area that would have considered running have all moved to other states now (and the ones that did stay could care less about politics).
If you have a list of places I will mention them on my radio show this Friday (and our the station's twitter/fb/forums). Can't hurt to get the information out there.

Portman (R) is up for reelection in 2016
Brown (D) is up for reelection in 2018.
