It was a beautiful warm day today as I was walking down town. When I saw this, the day got even brighter. I had to run home and grab my camera, so I could share with all of you this amazing sight. The flag has flown for sometime now, at the entrance of the preschool. Yet The Pioneering Voices signboard is new.
I live in a suburb, outside Boston. I am so proud of my town and the State of Massachusetts.
You know something, our colors are getting brighter and bolder every single day! It is the color of change and it's beautiful~~~ The Color of Things "A man's character always takes its hue, more or less, from the form and color of things about him." - Frederick Douglass

In other parts of the country, they're the United Church of Christ, different name and same acceptance and practice of the good parts of the New Testament.
Christians who got the point are some of the best people out there. The Congregationalists are one denomination that helps them get the point.

(83,855 posts)Yes it was a beautiful day, warm and clear. I was on the way to the bank when I passed the church, I was floored by the plaque for Pioneering Voices.
As I said the flag has been there for some time. It is a symbol of pride and a quest for tolerance. Yet it is more. It is about patience and perception too. We will never understand someone unless we walk in another person shoes. When you truly see through their eyes, only then will you have understanding.
Kudos to your sons school's pink ribbons, no tolerance for disrespect. I look forward to that video, freshwest.
