By next fall many people will have been relying on Obamacare for months.

Many will be paying less than before for better care and many will have it for the first time.
It will not be theoretical but a reality.

And then we will have the elections.

Dems will be able to clearly point out that if Republicans have their way people will be paying higher premiums again and others will lose their health care.

Even if people forget the details about the shutdown the one thing that will still stand is that the Republicans want to take away health insurance from people that now have it.

The Republicans will deny it and say they just wanted to fix the problems with the ACA but there are plenty of crystal clear soundbites of Republicans demanding to eliminate the whole system.

This is going to be a pretty huge hammer the Dems can wield come fall.
