Ted Cruz is politically dangerous and probably insane

"In a sermon last year at an Irving, Texas, megachurch that helped elect Ted Cruz to the United States Senate, Cruz' father Rafael Cruz indicated that his son was among the evangelical Christians who are anointed as "kings" to take control of all sectors of society, an agenda commonly referred to as the "Seven Mountains" mandate, and "bring the spoils of war to the priests", thus helping to bring about a prophesied "great transfer of wealth", from the "wicked" to righteous gentile believers."

and his crazy father drove Ted crazy by the time he entered the first grade.

People who are god crazy are incapable of negotiating in good faith because they see compromise as the pathway to hell.

This is why religious nutcases are so dangerous when they go into politics. Falwell knew this, which is why he told them never to advertise their fundygelical Christianity before they took office, calling them his "stealth candidates."

Be afraid, be very afraid.

However, they've dropped the "stealth" part and this makes them more prone to defeat if we can only talk sensible people into going to the polls to cancel the votes of the fundies, Dominionists, and other crazy people.

were the religious nutbars among the old Batista Cubans in Miami claiming he was the second coming of Jebus, same fantasy about his leading the US to righteous victory in Armageddon. Many people in the crowd were thumbing their beads and mumbling, the whole thing rising to a fevered pitch every time the poor kid went outdoors to ride his Big Wheel.

Of all the religiously insane people in the US, the Batista Cubans are some of the craziest.

Ted Cruz and his daddy are both crazier than shithouse rats.

He was with the sane side of the family. He was left alone by the government for the most part, allowed to have as normal a youth as possible.

That wouldn't have happened here, not between the drunken uncle and the constantly fainting cousin and surrounded by religious hysterics.

Sending him home should have been automatic.

Today on the History Channel the Ancient Aliens guy with the funny hair told everyone that Jesus got his powers from ancient aliens and that man walked with dinosaurs. He also said that man was created by ancient aliens to replace the dinosaurs which were less intelligent forms of life. How he knows that, I'll be darned if I know. However, I had a brief flash of longing to mess with evangelicals by inserting the ancient alien stuff into discussion with total sincerity.

As a member of that Church I would strongly disagree with the assetmens that Mitt was the shoos-en one - for anything else than himself and his own ego.. In fact I will rebut it totally, as mr Mitt clearly was just an ordinary man, who was full of himself, and probably believed he could just cruise into the White House with ease.. After all he had all the money he could ever dream off - and he might as well believed that it could be so easy to just get elected - after all, he had the GOP in his hand - and was maybe, promised by the GOP that they would do anything to cheat, to steal this election... It backfired horrible on the Romney Clan (thank good for that) and after that Romney and his clan kind of disappeared into the dark again...

I never trusted Romney, to me he was far to slick - nasty and with an past that is less than stellar.. And I have no clue why someone would believe a man like that, was "the chosen" to anything that be the White Horse Prophecy or any other prophecy ever been given to man by someone who say they have direct contact with the Lord.. It is not up to man to deiced this things - if it ever will be a possibility - it will not be up to us to decide who is that - it will be as it is.. IF it ever wil happend that is...

But he Migh have belived that HE was the shoosen on - he might have belived he was the evidence of the Prophecy - and he might have belived that he, as the shoosen one would be given the presidency as a gift from God...

And again, he failed I guess the allmighty Lord do not want him to be elected president after all - maybe he might end up a whole different place than he ever wanted to be - in the end..

These false Christians are determined to impose their own sharia law on the USA and extinguish the light of freedom forever.

They are just as bad as al quida, same goals just that they have not committed to all out terrorist attacks...yet. They want to stomp out freedom and impose a theocracy on America.

God help us if these heretics ever get complete political power. I don't know whos worse, Canadian Cruz or his foam at the mouth nutcase daddy! The founding fathers must be spinning in their graves.

This has a tremendous amount of information on on the religious and social aspects of a very influential faction of the Right Wing.

Also Google for the following individual terms so they can tell you about themselves:
Dominionism
Christian Reconstructionism
Chalcedon
The Heritage Foundation
Rushdoony (their favorite billionaire)

These are the cheeriest bunch of "Christians" since the Inquisition. I
was really quite jolted to read that they had heavily promoted the home
schooling movement, starting about 30 years ago, including the
curriculum with its integrated teaching materials starting with God's
guiding hand through all of American history. Bush was vetted by them
prior to his run for president--in a secret pow-wow, Chalcedon is a very
secretive group--and presumably given a literal blessing.

Home schooling, is a pet project, and providing textbooks that reinforce a certain worldview (that's their business) and that reinvent US history (now, that becomes everybody's business) are key to ensuring that "an army of Christian soldiers will be ready to arise" when they are given the call. Naturally, key to promoting home-schooling is the constant denigration of public schools: the inadequate education they offer, their dreadful immorality, those non-Christian kids and teachers that your kids are forced to associate with, sex education, and needless to say, the money we keep pouring into the school system. Of course, home schooling also depends on Mom staying at home where she belongs, and naturally money should be diverted from the public school budget to support that.
