during the run-up to the invasion and occupation of Iraq. If only the general public was even 1/10 as interested in keeping themselves informed about what powerful interests are doing as they are in memorizing sports statistics, we'd be in a much better position to put up a united front against atrocities like starting wars for oil & empire.

I obviously missed it. I think it's pertinent now b/c of all the hoopla over Syria having chemical weapons. Yeah, I couldn't tell you about any sports statistics lol. As a country, we are an ass.

We need to get out of every country we're occupying now. And I'm not just talking about Afghanistan. We need to stop all the foreign aid hand outs too. We need all of whatever money we have right here.

Just my humble opinion.
