Deputies Seek Family Of Deceased 50’s TV Twin Sisters

http://www.kcra.com/news/30614831/detail.html

EL DORADO COUNTY (KCRA) -- Deputies in El Dorado County are trying to locate anyone having family ties with two recently deceased twins who were regularly featured on a 1950s TV show.

Patricia and Joan Miller, 73, were found dead inside their South Lake Tahoe home more than a week ago. Their cause of death has not been determined and foul play has been ruled out, the El Dorado County Sheriff's Department said.

From their investigation, deputies have gathered that the Miller sisters were entertainers in the Bay Area and regularly appeared on TV in the 1950s. They were featured on a show called “The Hoffman Hayride.”

The sheriff’s office does not normally release the names of those who have died without first contacting the next of kin. The department said this case was unique, and they are hoping someone will step forward with any information regarding their kinship.

The two never married and they are originally from Portland. They spent most of their lives living together.

I couldn't find a picture of the two back in the day. I hope they can find their family.

two that my twin never fails to call me. We are very close. If I wasn't married I'd be with my twin sister and baby sister that we took care of. Well she isn't a baby any more. But none the less I love them soooooooo much. She came to visit me last year when I was in the hospital for a week. When she went home I cried my eyes out. I guess dying together was one way to make sure they stayed together.

Maybe carbon monoxide from a malfunctioning gas appliance?

kill unexpectedly as it's odorless if the company doesn't put an onion/garlic smell in it to warn people of a leak. I have propane and I regularly check the pilots because it worries me.

Their shared life ended in a mysterious double-death at their home last week. One body was in a downstairs bedroom, and the other was in the hallway just outside. They were 73.

There was no blood, no signs of struggle. Nothing indicated that the women had persistent health troubles. Their longtime home was not unkempt, a likely sign of mental or physical illness.

It was as if the two sisters, long each other's only companion, could not live without each other, said Detective Matt Harwood with the El Dorado County sheriff's office.

"My perception is one died and the other couldn't handle it," said Harwood, who has been unable to find any close friends or family members of the twins. "It appears purely natural, but we are still trying to piece it all together."

Twins living most of their lives together, doing the same things, eating the same diet, etc. And twins have been known to blurt out the same words and thoughts at the same time. If it was natural causes, I think this is the way the twins would have wanted to go out with the one they have bonded and loved their whole lives. Probably one died first, and the other one's heart couldn't take it and expired at nearly the same time.

I think they had some explosive material about the Obama administration, and they were killed for it! Has Sheriff Joe been notified, so he can start an investigation?

*Blink*

Boy, it just sounds stupid in any context, doesn't it?
