How long before the ACA (Obamacare) is up and running efficiently?

Will it be up by Thanksgiving? Or maybe by the first of the year?

Once it is up and people start signing up, will it be more popular?

Will it be more affordable for the poor and low-wage workers than the middle-class? Will the high deductibles be prohibitive for many folks with no insurance?

How long will it take to work out the kinks? Will it be an asset for the Democratic Party by election day next year?

It's not running efficiently at all. It's almost like it is some kind of game invented by Zorra Oct 2013 #7

I have no idea if you can actually enroll, but "the site is down" is misinformation.

a sadistical, sociopathic genius to send people to the psych ward with Obamacare Frustration Syndrome.

I enrolled back in late August. I started trying to apply for insurance on Oct. 1, and have been adamant and persistent about trying to get my application processed every day since then. Today I applied over the phone for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th time, out of about 15 times total counting my internet attempts (no exaggeration, maybe even 20 times total).

They said my application went through, but that I would not receive any verification from them over the internet, that something would arrive in the mail in about two weeks letting me know what is going on.

But I don't trust any of them because they have fucked up over and over so many times in so many ways that I now have at least 30 hrs and $30 in cell phone charges trying to get this done.

I've never seen anything like it. It's completely deranged.
