While we must continue to focus on deficit reduction, Sanders said it is important for Congress to pursue priorities that create millions of good paying jobs, raise the minimum wage, and protect Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid from being cut.

2. The thing I like about Bernie

(Besides the obvious) is that he understands how Washington works. He knows you sometimes have to hold your nose and vote for something because it's for the good of the country or because it will help accomplish something else. Too many people, as we just saw on the right, think people should only vote for a bill if it's 110% perfect. You see the same attitude in YouTube comments on the liberal shows like TYT.

This isn't the bill Bernie wants, or DU wants, or I want, but he knows he's gotta vote for it and then keep fighting for something better. Keep up the fight Bernie!
