Wife just went from $200.00 a paycheck for health coverage-to $40.00!!

BTW we are in Oregon and I'd wager its a matter of wanting it to succeed Vs. Republican Governors who refuse to help the people they should be serving.

Subsidies help individuals, but they do not fix the core problem of outrageous profit mongering, and that is by design, since insurance executives helped design the ACA. Just because an individual gets a subsidy does not mean that the insurance corporations are not still looting us blind. The middleman insurance corporations still get to suck obscene profits from American suffering, and we pay for the subsidies through our tax dollars.

We desperately need Medicare for all.

I just checked and it still says enrollment coming soon.

And I'm not sure what the new company name is but it was a comparable plan.


Aetna sucked frothy big uns...paid very little if at all. It was basically a card to get in the door. This one has to abide by current standards set by the ACA so just there its a better plan.

I thought it was the state program when I posted also-my error.
