Why do I see a LOOONNNNGGG night waiting for the House to pass the bill and President Obama

having seconds to sign the bill to avoid this whole disaster AND that's my hopeful side.

I can't for the life of me seeing Cruz and the Teabaggers rolling over.

Actually the Treasury can pay bills for several days with current cash on hand (> $30 billion) PoliticAverse Oct 2013 #1

All they need is for 17 Republicans in the House to vote for the bill added to the 200 Democratic PoliticAverse Oct 2013 #3

There aren't enough baggers to defeat it. They'll vote no, but it will pass. 11 Bravo Oct 2013 #4

that the entire teabagger cabal totals no more than 47, and that some of them have already thrown in the towel. There's a hard-core group of 10 or so who will likely stamp their tiny feet in a fit of impotent rage, but at the end of the night, their histrionics will all have been for naught.

The non-teabagger repugs recognize that their jobs are more in jeopardy by voting to keep the government shut down and precipitate a worldwide depression than from facing a teabagger in the primaries. This bill will pass.

It would have passed two weeks ago, but the weepy Boehner (and I'm pretty sure that's a sign of a venereal disease) wouldn't allow it to come to a vote.
