Faux Newz: Obama’s Grandma ‘Didn’t Trust People of Color,’ So He’s Taking It Out on America

8:34 am, October 16th, 2013

Psychiatrist and Fox News Medical A-Team member Keith Ablow engaged in some psychoanalysis of President Barack Obama on Wednesday’s Fox & Friends. He said that Obama sees himself as the “victim-in-chief” and is attempting to share that victimhood with the nation.

Steve Doocy began by asking Ablow to examine Obama’s recent rhetorical attacks on conservative members of Congress.

“In the words ‘hostage taking,’ ‘being held for ransom,’” Ablow began, “there’s a real victim mentality here, and it really explains the president’s whole mentality and many of his policies.”

“I think the president – going back to when his dad abandoned him, when his mother left him with his grandparents, when he describes his grandmother as intimating that she didn’t trust people of color – that all of those things led him to feel victimized, hurt, and injured,” Ablow said. “And he has extended it to this country.”

I can even respect some conservative opinions although I may not agree with them.

But this bullshit?

I just can't believe A) these nutjobs get away with saying shit like this, and B) that people actually swallow it up with gusto.

Fox News, and most of the right-wing mega noise machine just egg it on.

It is at times crossing the thin line from free speech to hate speech. At the very least it blurs the line. But either way it is apart of why the right-wing has gone bat-shit-crazy.

Fox News should at least should have any press credentials revoked and remove the word "News," from their title. That would help the problem immensely.

Wouldn't any competent psychiatrist admit he/she can't make any such judgments without extensive interview of the patient?

11. Do psychiatrists have some sort of Board of Ethics?

It seems to me that this sort of thing brings the practice of psychiatry into terrible disrepute. I wonder if there's a professional organization (like the American Medical Association for physicians) that could publicly rebuke this guy.

Keith Ablow (I'm-not-a-psychic-but-I-play-one-on-the-f-word-channel) makes a pretty good living "diagnosing" celebrities and other public figures that he’s never seen professionally.

If this sounds vaguely familiar, you might recall when that quack Senator Bill Frist (R-Tenn) "examined" poor Terry Schiavo by watching a video of her and then announced his neurological diagnosis from the Senate Floor.

It must be a special Republican talent ... diagnosing people and practicing remote psychoanalysis from afar. No wonder they oppose Obamacare.

And this is why Democrats can't sit on their asses and NOT vote.

The fools who listen to this drivel WILL go out and vote, regardless of how bizarre and completely wrongheaded the motivation.
