My condolences, you pitiful, dumbfuck freepwads

Your tea party is over, morans. Oh, you idiots will still elect some, but your teathuglican heroes overplayed their hand to such an extent that the power they've wielded just diminished substantially.

You hate Boehner. You're so batshit insane you think very conservative members of Congress are liberals. Now you're going after your favorite, Ted Cruz.

You folks are done. This country is becoming more diverse. You repellent racist shits are aging and dying off. There won't be a civil war or secession, idiots. You'll just become increasingly irrelevant and insignificant over the next decade.

And the republican party? You teathugs managed to damage it big time. We thank you for that.

Wallow in your misery. You richly deserve it.

Since McConnell is part of negotiating the deal he'll be enemy number one for the Baggers. He already had a Bagger set to challenge him. I'm not sure if it would be better for a Dem to run against McConnell's tarnished name or against some one new is who is an absolutely batshit crazy Bagger. I mean KY did elect Rand Paul. So there's no guarantee that being a batshit crazy Bagger will disqualify a person from getting elected there.

I wonder how many are out there in whacko far right land. The level of stupidity in the US, in Skeeter land, is hard to figure.

Chris Hayes profiled a guy who people elected to the House from somewhere in Georgia last night, a Mr. Brown. He is on record thinking the earth is no older than 9,000 years old, that evolution is not true, that climate change is not true. That the Devil wants us to believe in those things. On the House floor he referred to the Civil War as the war of Yankee aggression. Just breathtaking and there is a district in Georgia where enough people voted for all this to elect him. Scary.

I would hope the backlash from all this is harsh enough. Certainly it woke up enough big money types.

In the end the question is how many Skeeters are out there and how many kids are they brainwashing.

I hope the American Public wakes up enough to VOTE the bastards out of the House and Senate.. and we find ways to stop them from CHEATING and Rigging Elections.

I don't think this is over, but I would like to hope so. I think they will go and lick their wounds, and find another way to come back.. I hope at Election time, we put their party to REST. Make sure this DOES not happen again.

Those pictures of Palin and Cruz in a crowd of violent teabaggers waving a dammed rebel flag, the very symbol of slavery and horrible oppression, in front of the White House, in front of a black family, should be seared into the memory of every American forever!

This is what the tea party means when they say they want to take back America...all the way back to the horrors that hundreds of thousands of American boys died to stop long ago.

This cannot be allowed to happen! We have to stop these haters of freedom and equality! Thank God President Obama and the democrats in Congress stood up to the tea party coup and kicked their asses!

You hate Boehner. You're so batshit insane you think very conservative members of Congress are liberals.

They were saying that out loud almost verbatim.

RINOs and the far left. There's only a few of us smart enough to actually understand economics. What's wrong with keeping the government shutdown and defaulting on our debt? Oh it's so crazy. We're crazy. Crazy. Crazy. Crazy. Since when is having a small government a bad idea?

They get wackier by the day in direct disproportion to how well the economic recovery goes, i.e. they're happiest when the economy is doing poorly. And they vote religiously for these radical wrecking-ball candidates. They are very defensive at the moment.

1. The media is probably overstating the magnitude of the shutdown's political impact.

Remember Syria? The fiscal cliff? Benghazi? The IRS scandal? The collapse of immigration reform? All of these were hyped as game-changing political moments by the news media, just as so many stories were during the election last year. In each case, the public's interest quickly waned once the news cycle turned over to another story. Most political stories have a fairly short half-life and won't turn out to be as consequential as they seem at the time.

Or consider the other story from President Obama's tenure in office that has the most parallels to the shutdown: the tense negotiations, in 2011, over the federal debt ceiling. The resolution to that crisis, which left voters across the political spectrum dissatisfied, did have some medium-term political impact: Obama's approval ratings declined to the low 40s from the high 40s, crossing a threshold that historically marks the difference between a reelected president and a one-termer, and congressional approval ratings plunged to record lows.

But Obama's approval ratings reverted to the high 40s by early 2012, enough to facilitate his reelection. Meanwhile, reelection rates for congressional incumbents were close to their long-term averages.

None of this applies if the United States actually does default on its debt this time around, or if the U.S. shutdown persists for as long as Belgium's. But if the current round of negotiations is resolved within the next week or so, they might turn out to have a relatively minor impact by November 2014.

http://www.grantland.com/fivethirtyeight/story/_/id/9802433/nate-silver-us-government-shutdown/

As I warned here in the 2010 election cycle, never ever underestimate a political opponent. When you do, that's when you get bitten the hardest.
